Personal Biography:

Emily Mia Fox, daughter to her parents Robert Lucas Fox and Mia Esteves-Fox, grew up on the outskirts of Dallas, Texas. She is the youngest of three children. Her older brothers Robert Lucas Fox Jr and Marcus Angel Fox both entered into a military career as was the male tradition in the family. They were all a close knit group and have a great love and fondness for each other.

As Emily grew up and her brothers left for to start there lives, she was finishing up school and had to fend for herself without her big brothers around to look after her. Which was not a problem at all. Given the family history she had been taught several forms of martial arts (karate and beau staff fighting) and a fair amount of target practice out back in the fields of her family property. She had a big heart full of compassion and skin of steel and a cool head. Her father had hoped she would join her brothers in the military, her mother hoped she would stay behind and teach her skills to others as an instructor. Emily elected the path of becoming a Starfleet officer where she hoped she could do both.

Her introduction to the academy was a nervous day for her but she never let it show. Quickly she identified people she liked and people to avoid. Her participation in classes and exams was exemplary but she found most of her time spent in extra-curricular classes such as the martial arts she had already been learning since she was a child. She was a match for anyone who dared challenge her. She knew early on she wanted to work in the Armory as any thing else would have been less satisfying and some what alien to her because this is what she had known her entire life. Also being the slight explorer that she was which she had gotten from her mother, the military alone would not have done it, and she discovered quickly that she was in the right place.
